graduated in 1984 as a sociologist from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. He obtained his MA in development studies from the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, The Netherlands and his PhD from the University of Adelaide, South Australia. He has 30 years of experience in agricultural R&D and extension projects. Salahuddin has a strong background in partnership development, facilitation, and capacity building. Since 2000 he has worked for IRRI in Bangladesh, the Philippines and India.
