is a young entrepreneur from Mali. He is the founder and CEO of an enterprise called Africa Connecting. After creating this enterprise in 2013, he went on to launch in 2014 a distribution network for organic products. This initiative aims to identify and provide organic food to households in Bamako. In 2016, Africa Connecting was chosen as a Green Innovation Center Partner in order to help build the capacity of Malian farmers. In 2018, he set up a hydroponic agriculture system to train young Malians on a system which he thinks can excite young entrepreneurs. Amadou’s ambition is to contribute to the transformation of Malian agriculture from household agriculture to agribusiness and sees video as an integral part of that strategy.
