obtained a Diploma in Agriculture in 2015. Brian developed a passion in Crop trading, before joining the Ministry of Agriculture as an Extension Officer. This created an opportunity of collaborating with local farmers to search for viable markets and to sell their produce in bulk. After observing some market failures in crop trading in 2017 he embarked on value addition. He co-founded "Zafarm Group" together with his colleagues Alexander Kadyampakeni and Erick Anafi. Alexander is the finance and human resource manager, while Erick is the operations manager. Zafarm Group works with farmers in peanut butter production and sausage making. Their vision is to impart the necessary entrepreneurial skills in local farmers and entire communities, so that they view agriculture as a viable business that can transform their lives and consider it as a drive to economic growth of Malawi. The smart projector will be another tool to move their vision to reality.
