It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mukumu Bob Muchina, aged 65, which occurred on Monday 7 October 2019.
Bob was key to helping establish Access Agriculture in Africa as the new organisation had to build many new partnerships and relationships across the continent. The peak of his achievement was the very successful Access Agriculture Week in 2015, when partners of Access Agriculture gathered to reflect on the lessons learned and the way forward. From that week, Access Agriculture has gone from strength to strength spreading farmer to farmer videos around the world.
Executive Director, Josephine Rodgers, described Bob as a skilled communicator “he was determined that farmers should receive information in their own languages.”
The funeral is being held on Wednesday 16 October. The thoughts and prayers of the Access Agriculture family are being shared with Bob’s family.
