Edward Sibeene is a young social and economic development professional and researcher with over three years’ experience in social science research. He also has over five years experience in fostering meaningful youth engagements in youth-led research. Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Demography (with a focus on Research, Monitoring and Evaluation) with Development Studies (a focus on management and human development) from the University of Zambia. He is currently pursuing an MSc in Project Planning and Management at the Information and Communications University. Edward also holds certificates in information technology, business mathematics, communication skills, data management systems, community organising for action, management strategies for people and resources, and climate change mitigation. Since 2013, Edward has been actively involved in organising and facilitating community engagement workshops covering agribusiness, rural livelihoods and other developmental topics such as poverty reduction. Edward has extensive experience in community mobilisation, advocacy, conducting and organising focus group discussions. Currently, Edward is working at Chedic Associates as a Programs/Operations Associate.
