is the daughter of a farmer and passionate about agriculture. Gédya chose Agroecology to make a direct contribution to protecting the environment and promoting the agricultural sector. She graduated from the University of Toliara with a higher technician's diploma in Agroecology, and continued to enrich her knowledge through a voluntary internship at the TOMARO farm, where she worked on fish farming, agriculture and livestock breeding, in collaboration with DRAE Menabe.
Gédya runs her own farm producing improved ‘gasy’ chickens (a local breed) and is an active member of the Association of Young Agronomists ‘VONONA’ in Menabe, an organisation that aims to promote and improve local products to ensure food security.
With the smart projector, Gédya has the opportunity to move closer to her goals and develop her own business. Both a facilitator and a trainer, Gédya is a dynamic young woman who enjoys working in the field with farmers, supporting them as they learn about agro-ecological practices.
