is a Karimojong from Napak District. He is a film maker by training and profession. He has worked as a radio presenter, blogger and civil rights activist and he currently works with 88.7 Ateker Moroto FM combining his translation and interpreting skills with his passion for radio. He frequently takes part in programmes on Human Rights advocacy like “Know Your Rights”, and “Women & Development”.
James is currently the Team Leader of JELM-T-HUB YOUTH FARMERS group, which he created with team members Eunice and Francis, for young outspoken farmers in the great Karamoja and Moroto municipality. This is the group that inspired him to apply for the smart projector.
He is currently a CEO of Jemoz Media and Languages translators Hub Karamoja where he practices his entrepreneurial skills in language translations, video coverage, photography, audio recording and production, and business and music promotions.
James is also an environmental campaigner with a passion to protect, conserve and preserve the environment. He has experience working with ANARDE and is a Co-Founder and Programs Coordinator at Karamoja Youth Effort to Save Environment (KAYESE-256), a youth-led community group founded by youth for the youth and communities of Karamoja region.
James has experience on research and data collection and has supported a number of research projects with different government agencies, consultation companies, and academic Institutions and worked as a youth researcher in the Climate Change Project with Restless Development in Karamoja sub region.
