graduated from Bevalala Jesuit University with a degree in Agronomy, he then worked with MITAFA association for more than 2 years as a site manager in Itasy and Analamanga regions. His work with the association focused mainly on organic cultivation of soya, beans, rainfed rice, pineapple and coffee, as well as the development of farming techniques such as the use of basket compost for growing manioc, the development of sloping land, the production of compost in 7 days and the creation of nurseries for forestry.

He has already trained community agents in the production of organic compost as part of an Office National de la Nutrition (ONN) project in Bongolava region. After moving to Miandrivazo district in 2022, he and his team specialised in cassava production using the basket compost technique. Today, Manitra and his team intend to make a name for themselves in the production of organic inputs in the Menabe region by creating and formalising their own company specialising in the production of biofertilisers and biopesticides, and by promoting agroecology using the Digisoft smart projector.
