Mulching with trees and shrubs

Mulch from local trees and shrubs protects the soil from the harsh sun and reduces soil temperature, which is good for living organisms in your soil. Only selectively prune the shrubs and trees, so there always remain enough branches to allow the plants to grow well. Apply the mulch to your field 1 to 2 weeks before sowing. Gently move the mulch aside when inserting the seed in the planting hole.
