has an M.Sc. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Makerere University Uganda, in collaboration with the University of Pretoria in South Africa.  Prior to joining Access Agriculture, for 12 years she coordinated a DANIDA funded agricultural development programme with a consortium of ten partners under Caritas Uganda. Sylvia is passionate about green transition and the circular economy with an advanced certificate in Green Transition, Circular Economy and Environmental Sustainability from Denmark. She is skilled in consortia management, rural development, farmer organizational development, and has spearheaded several youth and student engagements to promote agroecology in schools at local and international levels.
