“Awesome, Excellent, Inspiring” – just some of the comments in the visitors book at the Access Agriculture Stand at the UN Sharefair, which has just ended in Nairobi.
Access Agriculture sponsored one of the categories at the UN Women Sharefair for innovations and technologies in Africa held October 15-17 at the UN Compound in Nairobi, Kenya. Access Agriculture was one of the organizations singled out for tremendous achievements in mobilizing resources for farmer training through videos in international and local languages. During the Sharefair, Access Agriculture served as one of the organisations adjudging the innovations. Gladness Mwanga of Tanzania emerged winner of the category Rural Innovations & Technologies for Agriculture for her entry in linking veterinary services with farmers through mobile phone.
There was tremendous interest in the videos available on www.accessagriculture.org as well as the sister website www.agtube.org
