Access Agriculture partners with FAO elearning Academy

The FAO elearning Academy, which offers over 500 multilingual certified e-learning courses as a global public good, now features Access Agriculture as a partner and a valued resource for information and knowledge on agroecological principles and rural entrepreneurship.

The Academy is the result of a collaborative effort involving partners throughout the world, who share similar goals as FAO, such as the promotion of innovation; multilingualism; capacity development; and free access to new ideas, practices and technologies, among others.

It seeks to strengthen the capacity of human resources and institutions to face global challenges by sharing knowledge and skills relating to food and nutrition security, social and economic development, and sustainable management of natural resources.

As part of the partnership, Access Agriculture and FAO elearning Academy will cross link their respective platforms. Based on the thematic area, the Academy will add the links to pertinent Access Agriculture videos in the Resources section of the FAO courses. They will support each other in the promotion of activities of common interest and participate in and organise joint initiatives or events.
