Access Agriculture has been able to link up with Swisscontact during training and awareness of agriculture finance and financing models. Attended by colleges, microfinance institutions, major banks and organisations such as ICIPE, there was an opportunity for the work of Access Agriculture to be shown. The organisation made a plea for partnerships to be formed so that issues of finance and farmers groups can be addressed in local language videos, showing how problems can be overcome.
Further meetings will be held to follow up on this important aspect of improving rural livelihoods.
